I was asked to help take part in a simple design exploration for the Google Pixel 4 launch, inspired by the Bauhaus school’s minimal modernism and the playfulness of the Google universe that we have come to know very well and love each time we experience it.
Below is how some of the early explorations and thinking from my time on the project developed and translated to animation once the team took it into production beyond the design phase.

As part of the larger campaign, we also explored what a 3D extension of the visual language could be — to potentially live on other tactics including OOH and in-store collateral.
